U.S. Money Reserve Raising Money to Hep Victims of Hurricane Harvey

The company of U.S. Money Reserve stepped into partnership with Austin Disaster Relief Network or ADRN for short in November earlier this year. The collaboration had the goal of raising money for charities and managed to raise $219, 622. The money was directed towards the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

 

The U.S. Money Reserve is based in Austin, Texas and is deeply involved with its local communities as it also has offices in Beaumont and Houston. The company was quick on its feet and started a relief initiative in order to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. In September, the U.S. Money Reserve also matched the donation made to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund which was started up by the Austin Disaster Relief Network. The money that was raised was directed to the people in the region of the Texas Gulf Coast who were profoundly impacted by the devastating power of the Hurricane Harvey.

 

Hurricane Harvey was of Category 4, and it hit Texas on Aug 25 earlier this year. It caused three landfalls over the course of six days. The storm was moving slowly as it raged and it resulted in dumping a couple of feet of rain over the course of 24 hours. The Hurricane Harvey achieved its peak on 1st September, and that is when a third of Houston went underwater. Almost 40 000 people were forced to leave their homes and move to shelters.
